Brady's Thanksgiving Meal
Thanksgiving
We had Thanksgiving at our house. Jamie and Nate came in the morning and we had pancakes and then spent most of our time in the kitchen. We had a great time!! With everyone's schedules, we don't get to spend too much extended time like that together. We ate dinner with Uncle Mike, Dad and Betsy. Then we celebrated Mike and Betsy's birthdays with friends and family. We had a full house and it was wonderful.

Brady with Friends
Scooting
Brady has started to scoot in his crib. He is very pleasant when he wakes up in the morning. He gives me a huge smile and it is a great way to start the day. It takes him awhile to wake up in the morning. He is very content to just wake up slowly and talk to the pictures on the wall. He can be in there for 20-30 minutes before he really fusses to be picked up. When he plays in the morning, he has learned to move himself around the crib. I put him to bed longways in the crib. He ends up with his feet kicking the rails and sometimes his feet are hanging out the crib.

4 Month Check-up
Brady went to his 4 month appointment this morning. He now weighs 14.0 lbs (up from 11 lbs 3 oz) and is 25 inches long(up from 23 in). John made the comment that he is over 2 feet tall now!! That is hard to believe when he puts it that way. That doctor said he looks perfect. He just encouraged us to continue putting him on his tummy even though he doesn't like it. He also told us that we can start solid foods whenever we are ready. He said it is common to start anywhere between 4-6 months. So we will probably start him soon. He definitely watches us while we eat and seems pretty interested. The doctor was very positive about everything and the appointment went great.

Penn State Visit
Last weekend, we went to visit my sister Jamie at Penn State. She is the Speech Language Graduate program there. She is almost finished and we are very proud of her and her accomplishments. We had a great weekend. The weather was beautiful and there was a buzz in the air because it was PSU's homecoming. We went and walked around downtown and saw the parade Friday night. Brady enjoyed it until it got to his bed time and then the music and yelling bothered him. Saturday, my brother Nate came from Kings to visit. We walked around to see all the tailgating that goes on at a football game. It was exciting because everyone was ready to see PSU beat Michigan. We went to the Creamery for wonderful ice cream (twice :) ) and watched as Penn State finally beat Michigan. The whole town was thrilled. We had such a fun weekend. Thank you to Jamie for being such a great hostess!!

Time in NH
Visiting Jon and Ivy
On our way to visit family in NH, we stopped to see our friends Jon and Ivy who live in Salem, MA. We had a great time catching up with them. We took the T into Boston to do a little sight seeing before we continued our trip north. Here is Brady's first ride on public transportation. We went to the Harbor to see the boats and the seals. We also walked around Quincy Market for awhile but Brady took a nap during that part of the trip. Our friend Jon got Brady to laugha lot so that was a great part of our trip. Thanks Jon!!
